Alan Wang has dedicated much of his time advocating for hepatitis b prevention and treatment. He speaks publicly about his own struggles with hepatitis B while addressing the critical need for funding and education.
Alan has worked closely with the San Francisco Hep B Free campaign for more than a decade. To date, it has successfully screened more than 25,000 people in a region that has the highest rate of liver cancer in the United States. Alan works with the Hep B Foundation and it’s storytelling project as a contributor and consultant. He and his family were also featured in a recent documentary film about hepatitis B called "Be About It."
Alan is an Emmy-award winning journalist and founder of NewsWorthy Media which provides media strategy and on-air coaching for companies across all industries. He specializes in teaching clients how to tell their stories and how to sell their stories. For more than a decade, Alan anchored and reported for KGO-TV’s ABC 7 News in San Francisco. During his 25-year career, Alan had a front row seat to the world while covering major local, national and international news. He has also worked for television stations in Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA and Fresno, CA. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
Alan lives in Berkeley, California with his wife and three children .

A recent graduate from SF State University’s School of Nursing, Stephy has been involved with SF Hepatitis B Free- Bay Area for the past 2 years, first as a volunteer, then later as a co-chair of the Hepatitis B Community Ambassador program at SF state and as a part-time Project Manager for community outreach projects. She speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin, which helps to connect with the API populations in the community. She loves working with SF Hep B Free – Bay Area, even after graduating from nursing school, and is staying involved with Online Support Group to help raise the awareness of Hepatitis B and continue making a difference in the community. Stephy also currently serves as the Hepatitis B Phone Line Navigator and is well versed in all things hepatitis B.

Stuart Fong is the current Chair of the San Francisco Hep B Free Bay Area Campaign. He was one of the original steering committee members, who founded SF Hep B Free. A grass roots organization who developed a public and private partnership to provide community awareness and education; screening efforts and linkage to care around Hepatitis B. One of the greatest Asian American health disparities.
Stuart also served as an instructor at San Francisco State University, in the Asian American Department, teaching a course dealing with Asian Health, looking at Asian American health disparities.
Stuart is a third generation Chinese and Korean American, born in San Francisco Chinatown, at Chinese Hospital. His family’s roots in the community provided him with insights to the Chinese American culture, history, and more importantly the health care issues within the community.

Alan同時也是艾美獎得獎記者與NewsWorthy媒體的創辦人, NewsWorthy提供企業媒體策略與直播訓練, 行業跨及各行各業, 他專精於教導客戶如何說故事以及賣故事, 他也同時擔任舊金山KGO-TV’s ABC 7 News的主播記者超過10年的時間, 在Alan 25年的職業生涯中, 他一直擔任播報地區或是國際主要新聞的最前線, 他也曾經工作於德州達拉斯, 喬治亞州亞特蘭大及加州佛雷斯諾的地方電視台.
Stephy剛從舊金山大學護理系畢業便已跟舊金山B型肝炎免費計畫合作2年, 一開始擔任志工, 後來在舊金山地區擔任B型肝炎社區推廣大使, 也同時兼職負責推廣此計畫, 她流利的廣東話與國語也幫助推廣B型肝炎知識在亞裔與太平洋島嶼族裔美國人社區, 她熱愛舊金山B型肝炎免費計畫的工作, 即便從護理學校畢業, 她仍舊在B型肝炎線上支援小組幫助倡導有關B型肝炎的常識並希望對社區有所貢獻與創造不一樣的結果.

Stuart Fong為舊金山B型肝炎免費計畫的現任主席, 他同時也是舊金山B型肝炎免費計畫的創辦人與原始委員會成員, 他在協會草創初期便已在社區發展公家與私人合作夥伴以推廣與教育B型肝炎常識並倡導B型肝炎篩檢的重要性, 畢竟對於亞裔美國人而言, B型肝炎在公共健康的差距比率中是相當高的疾病.
Struart 在舊金山大學的亞裔部門擔任講師, 教導如何管理亞洲人健康與疾病以及亞裔美國人的公共健康差距比率.
Stuart是華裔與韓裔的第三代美國人, 出生於舊金山的華人醫院, 他的家族在社區深耕已久, 也因此教育他許多華裔美國人的文化, 歷史以及亞裔社區的重要健康議題.
